Tidewater Volleyball Association hosts some of the most competitive hard court and beach volleyball leagues in Hampton Roads. We offer a variety of formats and skill levels from BB all the way to Open. Select divisions are eligible for cash prizes and trips to out of state beach league championships, as well as TVA’s Finals Night at the end of each season.
Tidewater Volleyball hosts some of the highest level leagues in the area. These leagues are both held on the hard court, and in the sand.
BEACH LEAGUES have been a staple of our organization for over 50 years! Comprising of the majority of TVA’s 2000+ members, around here there is never a dull moment. Being able to offer indoor sand volleyball leagues – thanks to our TVA indoor sand facility – allows us to never miss a weekend. Let’s talk summer time on the oceanfront. During the summer months, our beach leagues are some of the largest on the east coast, comprising of more than 200 teams per season. These leagues are capped off with a finals day followed by a players’ party located at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
HARD COURT LEAGUES have been around for over 20 years at our main facility. These leagues comprise of teams of four or six players. We offer men’s, women’s and co-ed divisions. Leagues are seasonal due to the popularity of the oceanfront, and who can blame our beach-loving members. Partnering with other league providers, we can offer a variety of leagues for our local residents. TVA does not only offer volleyball, though, we are also home to the largest social dodge ball league in the state. Thank-you Backyard Sports Club.
